Film Education and The Life of Pi

Film Education is creating educational materials for the forthcoming Life of Pi, directed by Ang Lee and adapted from Yann Martell's novel.

The materials, which will be arriving on Film Ed's resources pages in the coming weeks, are suitable for students of English and religious studies and will focus on concepts of storytelling and questions of divinity and belief. The online resources will be supplemented by a wall chart using images from the film to support learning about textual interpretation and analysis.

Supported by Twentieth Century Fox the trailer for the upcoming film Life of Pi is being played at all National Schools Film Week screenings suitable for secondary schools
